Faraz Siddiqi, J.D.
CHAIRMAN & CEO
A proven strategist and catalyst leader, Mr. Siddiqi operates at the intersection of transformation and growth. He has been recognized locally and nationally for his work in governance, leadership and portfolio oversight after over 20 years in various executive roles in the Energy and Infrastructure sectors across the globe, spanning all aspects of strategy, finance, growth (organic & inorganic) and operations. Faraz’s mandate during this tenure was to enhance enterprise valuation, profit and morale whilst empowering the next generation of leaders. As Chairman & CEO at Nexstar, Faraz is focused on purposefully moving the needle for our valued clients, transcending upper limits. Born in Labrador City, Newfoundland, and raised in Fort McMurray, Alberta; Faraz lives in Edmonton, Alberta with his wife and their three beautiful children. He earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Alberta and a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from New York Law School. A proud Canadian, Faraz has also had the privilege of serving on the Boards of the Edmonton Women’s Shelter (WIN House) and The Alberta Student Consulting Group.
Ghassan El Chazli, M.Sc., P.Eng.

Mr. El Chazli was COO at Nexstar Enterprises from 2016 until September 2021 and joined the Board in 2017. Ghassan is a seasoned enterprise leader with over 25 years of executive and operational expertise leading high caliber organizations and teams across multiple industry sectors, spanning North America and the Middle East. With a track-record of achievements in P&L and product leadership across heavy civil (incl. Design-Build), surface mining, industrial, infrastructure, commercial and engineering operations. This is complimented by Ghassan’s strong commercial expertise in JVs, Alliances, and EPC/EPCM frameworks. In his current role, Ghassan supports organizations in a governance and executive capacity to move the needle. Focused on legacy growth, Ghassan is passionate about coaching the next generation of management consulting, engineering, construction, EPC and EPCM leaders, leveraging his decades of expertise gained with multi-nationals and leading Canadian construction companies. Most recently, Ghassan led long term strategic planning, corporate turnarounds, operations and dispute resolution for leading clients across Western Canada and internationally.
